On Friday afternoon I helped Myriam to prepare a Shabbat's meal for young adults in shul. She had exams in the morning and a busy day at university, so I brought things for her to Kehilat Nitzan and when she arrived and was ready I went back home to prepare a good dinner for empty nest parents : (Mark and I) ....I took a rose and some purple flowers from the garden to decorate our Shabbat table.
Vendredi apres-midi, j'ai aide Myriam a preparer un repas de Chabat pour les jeunes adultes a la synagogue. Elle avait des examens et des choses a faire a l'universite, donc j'ai apporte de plats pour elle a Kehilat Nitzan et quand elle est arrivee et s'est trouvee prete, je suis rentree a la maison preparer un bon diner pour les parents aux enfants partis du nid... (Mark et moi)... j'ai pris une rose et des fleurs violettes du jardin pour decorer notre table de Chabat.

Nous avons encore eu un bel arc en ciel, je ne m'en lasse pas!!!
Not far from our home, a garden with a spectacular lemon tree full of fruit. Further on lovely small ping flowers on a wall at the entrance of a house. Kai Phong and me spend time admiring every house.
Non loin de notre maison un jardin au citronier bien garni de fruits! ailleurs, de ravissante petites fleurs sur un mur a l'entree d'une maison. Kai Phong et moi admirons chaque maison.
This evening (Sunday) Mark has left for 3 days in Sydney, but luckily for me, not for her, Myriam has a terrible leak in her studio and water falls on her bed when she sleeps so she moved with us for till the owner repares the leak.
Mark est parti ce Dimanche soir pour 3 jours a Sydney, mais heureusement poru moi, pas pour elle, Myriam a une terrible fuite d'eau dans son studio et il tombe de l'eau dans son lit quand elle dort, aussi a-t-elle emmenage chez nous jusqu'a ce que sa fuite soit reparee...
The first of May is arriving and in France we give each others some Lilly of the Valley flowers for good luck. In Paris I used to give some to Chun Wing and to Fatima our Caretaker to wish them happiness. An American friend Marilyn, sent me a Dromadaire card with a bunch of Lily of the Valley, which really moved and pleased me, because here it is autumn so ZERO lilly of the Valley!

Le premier Mai arrive, et en France on s'offre des . brins de muguet porteurs de chance. A Pris, j'en offrait toujorus a Chun Wing et a Fatima notre gardienne pour leur souhaiter bonne chance. Une amie americaine Marilyn, m'a envoye une carte Dromadaire avec un brin de muguet. Ca m'a fait tres plaisir car ici c'est l'automne, donc zero muguet!!!
