I have always loved hats, but nowadays you hardly wear them, except sun hats on holidays (or in Australia to prevent skin cancers as they have a hole in the Ozone layer down there) or in some elegant weddings or in shul if you are a very religious woman (which I am not).

Mark is just back from Australia and kindly brought me back his velvet Melbourne Club's Fez which is supposed to be a men's hat (when they drink port and smoke cigars}, but which I like very much.
Mark rentre tout juste d'Australie et m'a rapporte le Fez en velours de son Club a Melbourne, fez qui est normalement porte par les hommes (quand ils boivent du porto en fumant le cigare), mais que j'aime beaucoup.
I love my new hat's golden pompon (bobble) which tickles my neck when I move! J'adore le pompon dore de mon nouveau chapeau qui chatouille le cou quand je bouge.
