BLACK RAIN SIGNAL/ SIGNAL PLUIE NOIRE

Yesterday late afternoon, as the tail of Taiphoon Sarika was above Hong-Kong, we had the Black rain signal which is the strongest signal for rain. It means that there will be floods, landslides potentially and that people should stay at home as there is no transport and as all shops close.

Tard dans l'apres-midi hier alors que la queue du Typhon Sarika passait sur Hong-Kong, nous avons eu le signal Pluie Noire qui ets le plus eleve pour la pluie. Il previent qu'il va y avoir des inondations, potentiellement des glissements de terrains et que les gens doivent rester chez eux car il n'y a plus de transports et car les magasins ferment.

Les 2 photos suivanes ont ete prises a Causeway Bay a 10mn en minibus de notre appartement.

Today was a beautiful day but very hot as always before a Typhoon. We are waiting tomorrow for another Taiphoon called Haima that will only be 100 kms away from Hong-Kong, so we should have very strong winds and rains and more floods. I will put the plants from the balcony inside the bedrooms and I went shopping this morning to have supplies for the week-end. All the events under the Sukha have been cancelled in shul.

 Il a fait tres chaud et tres lourd aujourd'hui comme toujours avant les typhons. Nous attendons demain un autre typhon appele Haima qui ne passera qu'a 100kms de Hong-Kong, donc nous devrions subir de fortes raffales de vent, beaucoup de pluies et d'inondations. Je vais rentrer les plantes du balcon dans les chambres et je suis deja allee faire les courses pourle week-end. Tous les evenements sous a Souccah ont ete annules a la shul.
